Privacy Policy
This policy explains what IdleBob collects, why it is used, and how to contact me about your data. IdleBob is a small fan-made utility for boss timers and related notifications.

Data IdleBob collects
Discord login
When you log in with Discord, IdleBob may receive and store the Discord account information needed to identify your account, such as your Discord user ID, display name, and avatar URL.
Push notifications
If you enable browser push notifications, IdleBob stores the browser push subscription details and notification preferences needed to send the alerts you request. You can remove browser notification access in your browser settings or reset it inside the app.
Optional IdleMMO data
If you add an IdleMMO API key or related account details in settings, IdleBob uses that data only to provide the connected account features shown there, such as character or guild tracking.
Technical data
The server may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, request headers, timestamps, error logs, and security events to keep the service working and protected.
Cookies and local storage
IdleBob uses session cookies or similar authentication storage so you can stay logged in. The app also uses local browser storage for interface preferences such as light or dark mode. IdleBob does not use advertising cookies.
How data is used
Data is used to authenticate you, send requested notifications, run and secure the service, debug problems, and respond to support or privacy requests.
Sharing
IdleBob does not sell personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising. Data may be shared only with service providers needed to run the app, with Discord when you use Discord login, or if required to comply with law, security, or abuse-prevention needs.
Retention
Account data and notification preferences are kept while your account remains active or while needed to provide the service. You can ask for deletion by contacting me on Discord at @mxrk. Some technical records may be kept for a limited time for security, debugging, or legal reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK, California, or other US states, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the use of your personal data. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; IdleBob does not sell personal information or use targeted advertising.
